Kizzy is a show bred Labrador with superb drive and speed. Her sire is Polish Champion Rocheby Mr Tom and her dam is Indian Champion Rentas Lyril at Trentmeadow. Her uncle is a well used Latvian Champion Stud called Rentas Astonishing Topas. The lines go back to the famous Sandylands and Rocheby kennels, including Sh Champion Rocheby Silver Suede.

 

She has a fantastic temperament with smaller animals and children, being handled by children as a puppy at fun dogs shows. Her gentle and playful nature makes her the ideal role model in my off lead puppy classes and for Brimbleworth litters.

Kizzy has been lightly shown gaining Best Puppy in Show at the Labrador Retriever Club of Wales Open Show and qualifying for Crufts out of junior at the Ladies Kennel Association Championship Show. As a 10 month old Kizzy achieved her Level 1 Scent Work Certificate and  just months later her Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards.

She is a strong swimmer and retriever from lakes and rivers  at some distance. Thick cover does not put her off when it comes to retrieving during Gundog training. Kizzy has also undergone Mantrailing training, which is the search for "missing" people or pets through following scent trails. She is also regularly used for dog obedience demonstrations and features in the AMDT Dog Training Instructional Video series.
